CATTERICK BRIDGE WINS (P.A.) HASTINGS, Jan.' 1. The Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club opened its three days' summer meeting at Hastings to-day in fine weather. There was a very large attendance, and the course was fast. After the Havelock Hack Handicap the Judicial Committee held an inquiry into the alleged breaking of an engagement to ride Caudal Lux.
