Dr Marion Whyte is visiting Wanaka. Miss Mura Black, of Wellington, is the guest of Mrs C. H. Lees, of Clyde street. Mrs B. Kingston, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs Peter Barr, Montpellier. Mrs D’Arcy Palmer and Miss Helen Palmer, of Invercargill, have been visiting Dunedin. Miss Betty Wilson, who recently completed three years’ war service in the Money Order and Savings Bank branch of the Chief Post Office, was met by the members of the staff on her resignation and was presented with an occasional table by the accountant, Mr J. D. Stanley, who conveyed to Miss Wilson the best wishes of the staff and thanked her for her services.
