JAPAN’S WAR GUILT
A JOINT INDICTMENT s TOJO CABINET ARRAIGNED (Rec. 9.25 p.m.) TOKIO, Dec. 22. Admiral To jo and his entire Cabinet, who plunged Japan into war, will be tried jointly as war criminals in the first of the major war trials in February. Meanwhile it is learned- that Admiral Yashimoto, and several other Japanese held at Sugamo Prison, may be freed. The prosecution has made it clear that the trial commission must investigate conditions covering a considerable time before Pearl Harbour to fix the major war criminals’ guilt.
