SIGNING OF AGREEMENTS INVITATION TO NATIONS WASHINGTON, Dec. 20. The nations which participated in the Bretton Woods conference have been invited to sign the fund and bank agreements in Washington on December 27. The State Department said China, Czechoslovakia, Egypt, Ethiopia, the Philippines, and South Africa had indicated their readiness to sign the agreements, while British acceptance appears to be certain. Belgium, Canada, Columbia, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Fiance, the Netherlnads, Venezuela,. Jugoslavia, and several other countries will probably accept the invitation. No information has been received from Russia,
The department said the signatures will bring the agreements into effect, since over 65 per,cent, of the requisite subscriptions nave been received.
