GALE SUBSIDES
SEAS STILL ROUGH LONDON, Dec. 20. The gale which for three days has whipped the United Kingdom last night blew itself out. Rough sehs washed up more mines, one of which forced a diversion of traffic on the main Brighton-Worthing road. Gales in the Atlantic forced the 2?,0C0-ton United States aircraft carrier Wasp to put into Plymouth for three days for repairs.
