UNSINK ABLE LIFEBOAT.—This unsinkable lifeboat was recently demonstrated in Copenhagen. It contains watertight bulkheads and a watertight superstructure which can be closed over to prevent any ingress of water. Even if launched upside down, it will immediately right itself. It is equipped with a self-operating wireless plant which will broadcast distress signals automatically.
