CUTTING DOWN PRC-POSED MOVE BY UNITED STATES WASHINGTON. Dec. 13. The United States has invited 14 nations to round table discussions designed to cut down tariff barriers and promote world trade, says the Associated Press. No date or venue has been fixed, and it might be held in Europe, in spite of the United States being the inviting nation. Countries reported to be invited are Britain, Russia, China, France, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Cuba, India, Belgium ; Holland, Czechoslovakia and Brazil.
