Intending new pupils of the abovenamed Schools are required to give notice as early as possible, and not later than MONDAY, DECEMBER 17, 1945, of their, intention to enrol. Supplies of the printed form on which intending pupils are required to give such notice have been forwarded to primary and intermediate schools in the City and Suburbs. Form II Pupils of any of these schools may obtain the form on application to their head teacher. Primary school pupils desiring to entei for 1946 may obtain application form and brief prospectus through their head teachers as from MONDAY NEXT, December 10, within the Dunedin area. Those at a greater distance should make application through their head teacher for supply of forms by post. Guidance cards from town schools will be available as a matter of course; but each country applicant should ensure the posting of his card to the Technical College, Stuart street, before his school closes for 1945. RESTRICTION OF STUDENTS IN 1946. It is anticipated that with the increased numbers applying for enrolment in subjects of the Intermediate Examination for Degrees in Agriculture, Dentistry, Engineering, Medicine, and Home Science, and for the first examination for the Degree in Architecture, it may be necessary to restrict the number of students admitted to these courses. There is ai present a restriction in the number to be enrolled for Physics, and this may extend to Chemistry and Zoology. Students who wish to enrol at Auckland University Col. lege in any of the above subjects, whether for intermediate or B.Sc. courses are. therefore, advised that they must apply for admission by JANUARY 31, 1946.
