LINCOLN COLLEGE

GRADUATES’ REPRESENTATIVES ON BOARD (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 14. Two representatives of the graduates and diploma holders of Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, have been elected to the Board of Governers of the college. Seven candidates from various parts of the Dominion offered themselves for election, and Mr C. E Iversen, of Christchurch, and Mr P. W. Smallfield, of Wellington, were successful. , , , The Bledisloe medal given by a former Governor-General in 1930, to be awarded annually to the ex-student of the college whose record in the service of agriculture in New Zealand has shown him to be occupying a place worthy of honourable mention has been awarded for 1945 by the Board of Governors to Mr Eric H. Beamish. Mr Beamish was a student at the college from 1907 to 1909.
