FUNCTION AT OUTRAM
The Outram Town Hall was filled to overflowing to welcome home thirty-five servicemen who have returned from overseas. Mr A. Walker (chairman of the Patriotic Committee) welcomed the guests, and Dr Wyllie presented each man with an illuminated address on behalf of the residents. Mr G. Fleming spoke on behalf of the R.S.A. . „ . The evening was spent in dancing, ana the following items were contributed:— Selections by the Mosgiel Pipe Band; songs—Misses Wood and Thompson, and Messrs Collins and Larkins. Mrs Yule was the accompanist. Music for the dancing was supplied by Mr W. Irving s orchestra, and Mr M. Bathgate was the M.C.
