Commercial Banks were quoted at 18s 8d (buyer) and 19s (seller) on the Dunedin Stock Exchange E.S. and A. Banks had a buyer at £4 -11 s 9d and a seller at £4 13s. There was a buyer of Standard Insurances at £4 3s 9d, and South British Insurances had an inquiry at £4 9s 6d, with sellers asking £4 11s. Contributing New Zealand Refrigeratings were inquired . for at 14s lid, while sellers asked 15s 2d, and South Otngos had an unsatisfied buyer at £6. National Mortgage B shares were quoted at £1 18s (buyer) and £1 19s 6d (seller), and there were buyers of Wright, Stephenson shares at £1 8s for the ordinary issue and £1 5s for the preferences. Banin’s Breweries were wanted at 18s, sellers asking 18s 9d, and there was a seller of New Zealand Breweries at £2 6s 9d. Ordinary Bruce Woollens were wanted" at £1 17s, with a seller at £1 18s, and Mosgiels were inquired for at £l4 10s. For British Tobaccos buyers offered £2 13s, while sellers wanted £2 14s, and there was a buyer of Colonial Sugars at £57 15s. Dominion Fertilisers were quoted at £1 6s (buyer) and £1 7s (seller). Ordinary Macduffs shares had an inquiry at 16s, sellers asking 16s 7d and there were buyers of National Electrics at £1 13s 9d and New Zealand Drugs (£2 paid) at £5 4s 6d and the new issue at £4 3s 6d. Wilsons Cements were wanted at 18s 6d, sellers asking 19s, and there was a seller of Woolworths (Sydney) shares at £1 4s. Broken Hill Souths were inquired for at £1 8s 3d, and there was a seller at £1 10s. Mount Lyells were quoted at £1 4s 9d (buyer) and £1 5s 3d (seller), North Broken Hills had a buyer at £2 15s, and Big Rivers had an inquiry at 6d, with a seller at 7 2 d.
