REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES OTAGO TEAMS SELECTED The°teams to represent Otago in three representative matches over the Christmas holiday period have been announced by the Otago Cricket Association. The team to play Wellington, at Wellington, for the Plunket Shield on December 24, 25, 26, and 27 is as follows: W. A. Hadlee (Carisbrook), F. Bellamy (Albion-Y.M.C.A.-N-E.V.), T. C. Fraser (Carisbrook), L. Watt (Kaikor.ai), L. Baker and T. Freeman (Grange-University), R. Silver (Albion-Y.M.C.A.-N.E.V.), R. Harwood (Carisbrook), ’L. Smith (Albion-Y.M.C.A.-N.E.V,), A. W. Roberts and G. Mills (Old Boys), and C. G. Toomey (Grange-University). The team to play Canterbury in the Brabin Shield match at Carisbrook on December 24 and 25 is as follows; —Hughes (Taieri), Hall (North Otago), Paris (Port Chalmers), Hughes (Kaikorai), Lynch (Vincent), L. Watson (Albion-Y.M.C.A.), Caradus (Carisbrook), Chalmers (Old Bovs), Berry (Green Island), Richards (North-East Valley), Gordon (University), and Redding (Grange). Thage players are requested to attend at Carisbrook on Wednesday next at 5.30 p.m., wet or fine. The junior team to play Southland at Carisbrook on December 26 -and 27 is as follows:—Bell 'Carisbrook), Jones (King’s High School), Jenkins (Port Chalmers), St. John (0.8.H.5.), Peck (Port Chalmers), Valentine and Baker (University). McArthur (Carisbrook), Braithwaite (Port Chalmers), Gibson (0.8.H.5.), Culbert (port Chalmers), and Graham (Dunedin). Players in this team who will not be available or who will not be able to billet visiting players are requested to notify Mr E. S. Wilson by Monday. Tire Cricket Association advises that its Saturday morning coaching class will not be held again until the schools reopen in February. 1
