MISS ELLA HARRIS
The death occurred recently in Auckland of Miss Ella Harris, aged 87. Miss Harri., who was born in Dunedin in 1858, spent the latter part of her life in Auckland. She was the daughter of Mr John Hyde Harris, M.L.C., an early superintendent of the Otago Province, and a grand-daughter of Captain William Cargill, one of the founders of Dunedin. The late Mrs John Mowbray, of Parnell, was a sister of Miss Harris.
