INSTITUTE OF SECRETARIES
The annual meeting of the Otago Chapter of the New Zealand Institute of Secretaries’was held recently, when Mr M. J. Boardman presided over a good attendance of members The annual report and statement of accounts were submitted and the genera] activity of the chapter was reviewed. It was decided to maintain a close liaison with students and make every endeavour to assist them by lectures or other means.
The following officers were elected:— Messrs T. Marlowe (chairman), J. Jacobs (vice-chairman), M. J. Boardman, A. E. Hill, J. H. Hobbs, C. R. Nicolson and N. Pollok. A vote of thanks to the auditor and the retiring members of the executive was carried.
