FAIR AND COOL Forecast for Otago—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours,.was issued at 9 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Situation, —An anti-cyclone covers the Dominion, and a trough is over the Western Tasman. Forecast to 5 p.'m. To-day.—Mode-rate northerlies, fresh at times near the coast; weather fair and cool. Further Outlook.—A few showers probable. Weather in Dunedin. —Warm, sunny' conditions, tempered by a cool north-east breeze in the afternoon, were experienced in Dunedin yesterday. The; barometer remained steady throughout the day, the reading at midnight being 30.15 inches (1021 millibars).
