ARTHUR.—On August 5, 1945, at Lawrence Hospital, Alexander, eldest son of the late Thomas Arthur, and loved brother of Sinclair, of Timaru; aged 70 years. "At rest.”—The Funeral on Tuesday, the 7tli Inst., at 2 p.m., for the Lawrence Cemetery.—Chas. Moyle, funeral director, Lawrence.
BEATSON.—On August 4, 1945, at Dunedin, Rae, youngest daughter of James and Robina Beatson, 3 Lomond street, Caversham; in her fifteenth year. “In life and death, O Lord, abide with me."—The Funeral will leave the Caversham Presbyterian Church To-day (Monday), 6th inst., at the conclusion of service commencing at 2 p.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—C. GORMACK.—On August 5, 1945 (as the result of an accident at Balclutha), John Lawrence, dearly beloved husband of Jane Gormack, and loved father of Bessie (Mrs Frye, Balclutha), lan and Edna (Wellington), and Bob (Christchurch); in his sixty-eighth year. Deeply mourned. — Friends are invited to attend his Funeral, which will leave his late residence, Charlotte street, To-morrow (Tuesday), at the conclusion of a service commencing at 2 p.m., for the Balclutha Cemetery.—W.
