GIFT OF £15,000
CONVALESCENT HOME FOR COOK HOSPITAL (P A ) GISBORNE, June 26. An offer to give £15,000 for the establishment of a convalescent home in connection with Cook Hospital has been received by the board through the Public Trustee on behalf of an anonymous donor. The board expressed appreciation of the offer and decided to refer it to the Health Department for comment, and to ascertain the prospects of obtaining a subsidy.
