BALCLUTHA SALE (Special) BALCLUTHA, June 2. There were smaller yardings in all classes at the Balclutha sale yesterday. Prices obtained were as follows: Fat Sheep.—Wethers, 27s 6d to 36s 6d; ew'es, 15s 6d to 22s 6d; lambs, 23s 6d tb 275. Store Sheep.—Small ewe lambs, 225; failing-mouth ewes, 245; empty ewes, to 11s; wethers, to 255. Fat Cattle.—Empty heifers, to £7 10s; good fat bullocks. £l6. Store Cattle.—Mixed-colour steers, to £4 10s.
Dairy Cows.—Cows in milk, £l4 to £l6. Horses.—Eight-year gelding, £l2; aged mare, £9; young gelding. £l4.
