Sinclair, it was decided to hold a meeting on the third Friday of every month. At the next meeting it is hoped to start a practical demonstration, using two glass discs to make a seven-inch reflecting telescope, the work to be under the supervision of Mr W Gardner, one of New Zealand’s noted mirror makers. The question of a suitable clubroom centrally situated in the city was raised, and several members have promised to make inquiries.
