RETURN OF BOMBERS
MASS FERRY OPERATIONS NEW YORK. May 23.
Sixty-five Liberators and FlyingFortresses of the- Eighth Air Force arrived at Bradley Field, Connecticut, In the first flight of mass aerial ferry operations, which will return 3400 bombers and 40,000 airmen from Europe in 60 days. Most of the men, after 30 days’ leave, will be reassigned to tiie Pacific.
