THE McKENZIE TRUST
ANNUAL ALLOCATIONS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 24. The annual meeting of the board constituted to administer the £IOO.OOO trust created by Mr J. R. McKenzie in 1940 for charitable and educational purposes throughout the Dominion was hold recently. It was reported to the meeting that since the creation of the trust the sum of £25.657 had been allocated according to the deed of Allocations totalling £4BOB for 1945 were approved by the board. Among the larger amounts were the following:—New Zealand Returned Services Association, £1000; Royal New Zealand Society for the Health of Women and Children (including £3OO for Maori Plunket nurses). £1300: Advisory Board of the Federation of Health Camps, £663. Allocations to Dunedin bodies were made as follows:— Occupational Centre for Sub-normal Children, £125, Toe H, £3O; Methodist Central Missions homes for the aged, £25; Childrens Rest Home. £25.
