CURRENT PROGRAMMES Octagon Theatre. —A second week of Rose Franken’s well-known comedydrama, “ Claudia.” Strand Theatre. —Comedy and drama are blended in " Larceny, Ine.,” starring Edward G. Robinson. " Spy Train,” featuring Richard Travis, is the associate picture. Empire Theatre.—“ Law of the Tropics, ’ a dramatic love story, featuring Constance Bennett and Jeffrey Lynn. State Theatre. —"Address Unknown ” stars the Academy Award winner, Paul Lukas.
Regent Theatre.—Bette Davis in her latest picture. “ Now Voyager,” is said to surpass anything she has done before. St. James Theatre. —“ Sheepdog of the Hills," features England’s champion sheepdog, Moss. "Annie Laurie ”is also being shown.
Grand Theatre.—" Carolina Blues,” with Kay Kyser and his band, head the double-feature programme. “ Lone Star Pioneers ” is also being shown. Mayfair Theatre. —“ Higher and Higher ” features the popular singing star, Frank Sinatra. “ Timber Queen ” is the other picture.
