FAREWELL VISIT
SIR HARRY AND LADY BATTERBEE ITINERARY ARRANGED The High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in New Zealand, Sir Harry Batlerbee, and Lady Batterbee will arrive in Dunedin on a farewell visit by the afternoon express on Wednesday, June 6. Their list of official engagements has been arranged by the Mayor (Mr D. C. Cameron) as follows: WEDNESDAY. JUNE 6.-8 p.m., visit to Winter Show. THURSDAY, JUNE 7. Morning, visit to Montecillo Home; 12.30 p.m., Sir Harry will be the guest of the Rotary Club at luncheon; 3.30 p.m., Lady Batterbee will be the guest of the Otago Women’s Club; 8 p.m., Sir Harry and Lady Batterbee will attend the annual meeting of the Dunedin branch of the Crippled Children Society FRIDAY, JUNE 8.—10.30 a.m„ Sir Harry and Lady Batterbee will attend a reception by the Mayor (Mr D. C. Cameron), at which there will also be present city councillors, local members of Parliament, and ex-Mavors; 2.30 p.m., Sir Harry and Lady Batterbee will pay an official visit to the Art Gallery as the guests of the Art Gallery Society. Sir Harry and Lady Batterbee will leave for the north on Saturday morning, June 9.
