TEMPERATURES MILD
Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in' Wellington:—
Situation.—An anti-cyclone over the Tasman is moving on to the Dominion. and pressure is falling in the south. * Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Light to moderate northerly winds predominating; weather fair to fine; temperatures moderate. Further Outlook.—Fail. Weather in Dunedin.—Several hours of bright sunshine were experienced yesterday, but the temperatures were cool. There was a breeze from the south-west. The barometer remained at a high level, the midnight reading being 30.23 inches (1024 millibars.)
