BOMBER COMMAND
NEW ZEALAND PERSONNEL GREAT RECORD OF SERVICE (Official News Service) (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, May 22. Air Chief Marshal Sir Artnur Hariris, commanuer-m-crnef of Bomoer Command, referred to the courageous worn ot the New Zealand Domoer crews in a message to the air officer commanding the K.N.Z.A.F. in London. He stated: “ Please convey to all New Zeaiana personnel who have served or are serving in Jtsomoer Command my great appreciation of their royal cooperation and gallant and determined contribution to the defeat of Germany and the freedom of mankind. To all New Zealand air crews, and to all grbund staff personnel, their British cousins give heartfelt thanks. We in Bomber Command are proud indeed of the great record of service of the New Zealand crews, who were second to none in courage and efficiency.”
