ANALYSIS OF HITLER PSYCHOLOGICAL PHENOMENON LONDON, May 21. Hitler was a psychological phenomenon that happens once in 1000 years, said Dr Theodore Morrell, Hitler’s personal physician since 1936, in an interview with the Associated Press correspondent at Berchtesgaden. Dr Morrell, who is aged 59, said; "I could never class Hitler as any type psychologically. I never met anyone like him. He was like a meteor which suddenly gets started on a course, and which nothing can stop. It goes on and on until ” Dr Morrell then threw up his hands, as if indicating an explosion. He said he was convinced that Hitler did not commit suicide, and added that such an act would be inconsistent with a man of his type. “He had two natures—one hard, strong, energetic, cruel, ruthless, and forceful, and the other shy, especially in the presence of women, full of fear and uncertainty.” Dr Morrell, discussing Eva Braun, who was reputedly Hitler’s “great* love,” said: “ Braun was respected among the inner members of Hitler's entourage as Hitler’s wife. The marriage was undoubtedly consummated, but I know little about his love life. The confidence that ordinarily should have grown between patient and physician did not exist.” Dr Morrell disclosed that he had administered glucose and caffein intravenously to Hitler every day for the past several months because the Hitler was enduring aggravated his digestive trouble and made »nim suffer painful cramps and colics aftermeals. ’
