AGAINST FALANGISTS
SPANISH COMMITTEE EXTENSION OF STRUGGLE (Rec. 10 p.m.) NEW TORK, May 21. The pre-Franco Spanish Parliament will meet soon in France in an effort to extend the struggle against the Falange, according to an announcement by the Spanish Committee of Liberation.
The Herald-Tribune’s San Francisco correspondent says the committee comprises representatives of the five principal parties before General Franco seized Spain and its headquarters has hitherto been in Mexico.
Dr Juan Negrin, the last Prime Minister of Republican Spain, arrived at San Francisco to try to forestall any move to give Franco Spain a seat at the conference and to unite all Spanish Republican factions oefore the convening of the Cortes.
