FINE AND COLD Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Situation. —An anti-cyclone is moving from central to west over the Tasman. Weather in Dunedin.—Bright, sunny weather, with a light south-west breeze, was experienced in Dunedin yesterday. The barometer rose steadily, and stood at 30.17 7inches (1022 millibars at midnight.) Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Moder-ate south-westerly winds; weather fair and cold. Further Outlook. —Fair to fine.
