WATEA CROQUET CLUB
Mrs T. Shaw presided at the annual meeting of the Watca Croquet Club, which was held in the club's pavilion on Monday. The president thanked the committee and members for their support during her term of office. The report and balance sheet showed that the club war in a verv healthy position. The election of officers resulted as follows:— president, Mrs S. P. Knox; vicepresidents, Mesdames J. J. Henry and C. Chapman; secretary. Mrs A. Rayner; treasurer, Mrs W. D. Chisholm; Greens Committee —Mesdames Thomson, Chapman and Colquhoun; captain. Mrs J. J. Henry; deputy captatn. Mrs Shand; Match Committee—Mesdames Henry. Shand, Knox and Shaw; Social Committee—Mesdames Newman (convener), Mercer and Turnbull; delegates to the Otago Croquet Association—Mesdames Knox. Henry and Chapman.
