LIKELY TO BE HELD IN JULY
FURTHER COALITION OPPOSED (Rec. 9.15 p.m.) LONDON, May 19. A general election in July is now more than ever likely, says the parliamentary correspondent of The Times. He points out that most Labour Ministers are opposed to a continuance of the coalition for the period of the Japanese war, and the party conference opening at Blackpool on Monday is expected to support their view.
