PROFESSIONAL BOXING
Jack McCann, the Wellington professional boxer, arrived in Dunedin on Saturday afternoon for his contest to-night with Roy Stevens. He worked out in the association gymnasium yesterday morning before a large crowd of spectators. Both men scale list 41b, and a keen contest is anticipated. The amateur bouts so far arranged are:—Cuttle v. Bolger, Anderson v. Guthrie, Ewen v. Hay, Algie v. Hayes, Gibson v. Leckie, and a bout for which the contestants will be selected from Armstrong, Hitchings, Brown, Ruston, Moreland, and McCombe.
