BRITAIN’S EXPORT TRADE

INTELLIGENCE ORGANISATION LONDON, Mar. 25.

Leading British industrialists, including representatives of some of the largest firms in the country, have announced details of a plan to help the revival of Britain’s export trade. They are establishing an organisation. known as B.E.T.R.O.—British Export Trade Research Organisation—which* will be non-profit making and will--conduct market research and maintain* a world-wide trade intelligence systemgj The organisation will have its head--; quarters in London, and pending the.-; formation of overseas branches, a “fly--' ing squad” of expert research person- - nel will be formed ready to ,gQ.,.pver-,;; seas at short notice and carry outmarket research in any territory. 8.E.T.R.0. will work in close association with an overseas advertising service which a group of British advertising agents has jointly agreed to establish, called the British Exp6rt.s Trade Advertising Corporation;':^:^;
