NAZIS EXECUTED

OFFICIALS IN BADEN URGED LAYING DOWN ARMS (Rec. 10 p.m.) . LONDON, Mar. 25. Having allegedly openly criticised the German leaders’ policy of continuing the war and declared that the time had come to lay down arms, three important Nazi chiefs in Baden were executed for offences against party discipline, according to messages published in the Swiss press, says the Daily Telegraph’s Zurich correspondent. They were Hummel, who was president of Baden; Pflaumer, Minister of the Interior of the province; and Gaertner, director of the Baden Government’s administrative services. Twenty-four Nazi S.S. leaders of Baden are stated to have been arrested on similar charges of insubordination.
