WAR-TIME CONTROL WASHINGTON, (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Mar. 23. The War Shipping Administration announced that Australia and France have joined “the United Marine Authority,” making 10 nations who will submit their shipping to international central control for at least six months after the war. Charter members of the United Marine Authority are the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Belgium, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland and Greece.
