Dale, the winner of the Hook Trot, is a three-year-old gelding by Sandydale—Margaret Bingen, by Nelson Bingen —Stanley's Child. Aerial Scott was got by U. Scott from Air Flow, by Guy Day—Willina Chenault, by Peter Chenault. Air Flow was imported by Mr J. R. McKenzie in 1934, and U. Scctt in 1935.

Double Peter is an aged gelding by Peter Bingen from Eleawah, by Peterwah. Peter Bingen won the Trotting Cup in 1028 and 1929. He won the second time in 4min 18 4-ssec, and was the first winner to break 4min 20scc.
