SWIMMING
INTERPROVINCIAL CONTEST The interprovincial swimming contest between Otago and Southland will be held at the Municipal Baths tonight. The Sports Trust Shield, at present held by Otago, will be competed for in the women’s intermediate, and junior divisions, the events consisting of freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke races, diving, and relay and water polo contests. More than a dozen holders of New Zealand titles will be taking part. \
