The Old Boys’ Football Club, at its annual meeting on Wednesday night, passed a motion of sympathy with tire Milner family in the death of Mr Frank Milner, who had been patron and a faithful supporter of tiie Club. Tributes of respect were also paid to the memory, of Messrs H. Benson, I<. llodge, J. Strang and J. Hendra, members ol the club who had lost their lives while serving with the armed forces. The secretary was instructed to write to the parents of Private Bruce Paton, expressing gratification at the news of his having been discharged from hospital. Previously he had been reported missing, and later, wounded. It was agreed to write congratulating Mr Donald Burns on bis election as a life member of the North Otago Rugby Union. Major Gordon McCallum, who is on furlough from the Middle East, is spending a holiday with his relatives in Oamaru.
