ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
MAORI HILL CLUB Mr H. Newall presided over the annual meeting of Maori Hill Association Football Club held xast night. The annual report stated that the club had entered three teams in the competitions last year. The balance sheet showed that the financial position was sound. Moving the. adoption of the report, the president said the introduction of the North End v. South End matches had proved very popular, and the club should press for more of such games. During the past two years the financial position had shown a great improvement. The following office-bearers were elected:—Patron, Mr S. N. Brown; president, Mr H. Newall; treasurer, Mr H. D. Colgrave; secretary, Mr T. Dunlop; auditor, Mr H. Balk; delegates to the 0.F.A., Mr R. Ferguson and Mr D. Booth; committee—Messrs A. Murphy, D. McCreadie, R. Ferguson, D. Booth, and G. Ferguson; selectors for intermediate team, Mr D. McCreadie. It was decided that teams should be entered in the Senior, Intermediate, and Fifth Grade competitions. The club will hold its opening day on April 7.
