FAIR AND COOL Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorolog cal Office in Wellington:— Situation.—An anti-cyclone cover* the Tasman Sea and New ‘Aenliutu. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Fresh south-westerly winds, moderating gradually, with a few st'-ltc-ed showers at first, especially in th* south, but weather otherwise fair; temperatures cool, but rising slowly. Further Outlook.—Fair. Weather in Dunedin.—Although the sun shone occasionallv during the day, the weather in Dunedin yesterday continued to be broken and showery, with a cold south-west breeze.
