BLOOD DONATIONS
NEARLY 3,000,000 FOR WAR
RUGBY, Mar. 19.
Nearly 3,000,000 blood donations have already been given in this war. This fact is revealed in the official booklet “Life Blood ” describing how blood transfusion has saved thousands of lives on the battlefield and in bombed towns and cities.
Blood from Britain was dropped by parachute over Malta in the direst days of the island, and in all the theatres of war the lives of many soldiers have been saved.
