COOL AND CHANGEABLE Forecast for Otago.—-The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Situation.—A trough ot low pressure. , is moving north-eastward over the Dominion and an anti-cyclone is situated in the western Tasman Sea. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Mod-erate to fresh south-westerly winds; weather cool and changeable, with a few showers, but improving. Further Outlook.—Fair westerly conditions. i Weather in Dunedin.—After a warm and sijmny morning, the weather changed at mid-day yesterday,' and -the sultry conditions accompanying a moderate northwesterly breeze gave place to a cool southerly breeze, with occasional heavy showers. The barometer fluctuated during the day. and at midnight the reading was 29.71 inches (100 Q millibars). , The following are the meteorological observations taken yesterday at the Daily Times Office: —
