MR HOLLAND’S OVERSEAS TOUR

Sir,—Mr Holland has been assured that, on his visit overseas, facilities will be given to enable him to see the New Zealand Division in Italy. What a pleasant change it will be for our fighting men to hear the eulogies of a returned soldier who has been through it all, and knows what he is talking about! As there would be no object in adding to the worries of our tired and homesick veterans in the Middle East, Mr Holland will no doubt refrain from revealing to them the real state of affairs in New Zealand, with its strikes, go-slow policies, and industrial unrest everywhere. They will be able to see it all for themselves when they return.—l am, etc., New Zealander.
