Good supplies were available at yesterday morning’s fish auction. Lemon soles were all cleared at ll)c minimum price, but there was a surplus of English soles and led cod on wholesalers’ account. Prices ranged as follows:—Lemon soles, 4Jd per lb; English soles, no sale; flounders, 5Jd to Gd per lb; brill, 1 03 d per lb: groper, 6Jd to 7ld per lb: blue cod, 63d to 8d per lb; kingfish, BJd per lb; ling, 3ld lo 33d per lb; gurnard (unguttedi, ljd per lb; red cod, Jss per large case.

Scott Bros., produce merchants and commission agents, registered egg and onion merchants, report:—Eggs: Dunedin area selling values are:—Heavy, 2s 6d: standard, 2s 4d; medium, 2s 2d; pullets', is 9d. Pay-out values for consignments received for week ended March 16 will be: —Heavy, 2s 6d; standard, 2s 4d; and medium, 2s lid. Butter: We are licensed to handle consignments; value, Is Id to Is 2d per lb. Poultry: Light condilion, ts Gd to 2s each: medium condition hens, 2s 6d to 3s each; heavy breeds. 3s 6d to 4s each; geese. 4s to 5s each; turkeys. Is 6d to Is 9d per lb, live weights; ducks, 2s 6d tc- 3s 6d each. Potatoes: King Edward, £8 ss; and whites, £7 15s, f.0.b..

s.i.. nearest port. Whole fowl wheat, 27s per sack. ChafT: Prime oaten sheaf, £7 15s per ton, ex truck, bags extra; £8 IPs ex store. Whole maize; Limited supplies only. Oyster grit, 6s 6d per 1001 b bag. Straw: Small stocks of both oaten and wheaten to arrive. Onions: Canterbury, 17s per cwt. Lucerne chaff, 7s 6d per sack. We stock chickfcods, gristed baj-ley (22s per 1501 b). oyster grit, whole barley (suitable poultry, 5s 9d per bushel, sacks extra). We supply fowl crates.
