ROYONEY BEATS PEDANTIC (P.A.) WESTPORT. Mar. 18. The weather was fine, but the track was a bit slow from overnight rain for the Nelson Jockey Club’s race meeting, which was'held at Westport yesterday. The, totalisator handled £13,951, compared with £11,946 in 1943, when the previous meeting was held at Westport, an increase of £2005. The following are the results:— Waimea Stakes, of £l3O.
