WOMEN'S JUNIOR BASEBALL. (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Mar. 17. The South Island Women's Junior Baseball Championship tournament, was held in Christchurch on Saturday. The West Coast team was unable to travel and a Canterbury B team was substituted for it. The following were the results: Canerbury A 36, Canterbury B 16: Otago 6, Southland 3; Southland 31, Canterbury B 1; Otago 17, Canterbury A 8; Otago 21, Canterbury B 2; Canterbury A 12, Southland 8.
Otago won the title, Canterbury A being the runners-up.
