THE RAINFALL
The heavy rainfall at Oamaru during the later part of last week resulted in no less than 2.20 inches being registered by Mr William Forrester. Such a substantial fall in the first six days of the first month of the vear forms a striking contrast to the 01 points registered for the whole of January last year.
