FAR EASTERN CAMPAIGN

APPEAL FOR FRENCH VOLUNTEERS (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 7. The Paris radio this evening appealed for volunteers to fight in the Far East. “French forces will participate in the Far Eastern campaign and the liberation of Indo-China,” it was stated. “We want officers, n.c.o.’s, and all ranks at present on the reserve list, besides young men eager to serve. They, after victory, will have a chance of getting jobs in French East Asia.”
