BANGKOK ATTACKED
SUPER-FORTRESS RAID WASHINGTON, Jan. 4. Super-fortresses from General Lemay’s command attacked Japanese communications and facilities in the Bangkok area, Thailand, in daylight on Tuesday, says a Twentieth Air Force communique. The weather was clear over the target and unobserved to excellent bombing results are reported. Fighter opposition was weak. Flak was meagre and inaccurate. All the planes returned without damage.
