DISTINGUISHED SERVICE
AWARD TO NAVAL OFFICER (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 5. Advice has been received from the New Zealand High Commissioner in London, Mr W. J. Jordan, that in the New Year honours the King has approved the award of the Distinguished Service Cross to Temporary Lieutenant Reginald Michael John O’Connor, R.N.Z.N.V.R. His wife is Mrs N. L. O’Connor, of Timaru. Lieutenant O’Connor recently returned to New Zealand.
