OCTAGON THEATRE

HILARIOUS NEW COMEDY “ Holy Matrimony," which stars the popular comedians Gracie Fields and Monty Woolley, is the current attraction at the Octagon Theatre. The film is full of fun and frolic, and to the producer, Nunnally Johnson, goes the credit for much of the hilarity of the production, for. in addition to undertaking the filming of the picture, he wrote the screen play from Arnold Bennett's famed “ Buried Alive.” He also made sure that the film was peopled by well-known actors. Perhaps the single most important factor in keeping the film at the proper pitch is Gracie Fields, the well-known English comedienne, who brings to the screen the charm and buoyancy which she exhibits in radio broadcasts. In “ Holy Matrimonyshe is the perfect team-mate for Monty Woolley. Also featured are Laird Cregar. Una O'Connor, Alan Mowbray. Melville Cooper, and Franklin Pangborn. Box plans are at Begg’s and the theatre.
